User Time Tracking

Record when users work for payroll, job costing, or compliance.


Overview

  • Clock in/out — Users clock in and out from the app; some setups support job or project codes.
  • Timesheets — View and edit time entries; admins may approve or lock periods.
  • Reporting — Reports by user, department, or job when enabled.

How to use

  1. Users — Use the in-app clock-in/out control (e.g. in the header or time tracking module).
  2. Admins — Open Admin → User Time Tracking to view, approve, or export time data.
  3. Configure rounding, approval rules, and visibility in settings when available.

Tips

  • Ensure users know your policy on clock-in location and job coding.
  • Use Activity Log to audit changes to time entries if needed.
